Swan Song

Finished Swan Song quest, was much easier than I expected, only needed a few sharks throughout the whole quest! Now I can fish Monkfish, although I'm still going to use Sharks for slayer... But more importantly, I now have access to the Bank here, which is good for summoning, because of the nearby obelisk. I just need to work on getting a few more final ingredients for pouches, then I can go waste my time and money on it!



Just measured walking times for obelisks. Taverley one is 1:15 from a bank, Piscatoris one is 36 seconds! Waaaay better!

Garden of Tranquillity

I actually quite enjoyed this quest for once, it was nice being able to see the difference you are making, and the end garden is very very pretty!

Creature Of Fenkenstrain

Finished this quest in about an hour, very easy. Got a Ring of Charos now, time to get it enchanted by doing Garden of Tranquillity.

80 Smithing

Got 80 smithing, now I need to do a few quests so I can get access to the Piscatoris Fishing Colony, for faster summoning levels.

Halloween Event 2008

For this event, you first have to speak to Maggie just east of the crafting guild, then run about draynor and port sarim, right clicking NPCs and selecting trick or treat. First of all however, you need to speak to Wendy for a costume, or use the chicken / skeleton outfit from previous years. It takes a while, and you will get more of some candies than you need, just keep trying.

You will eventually be rewarded with a 3 piece costume, shown here with the new emote unlocked.

75 Smithing

I'm kinda halfway to 80... levels-wise anyway. I'm sticking with mithril bolts (unf), I don't lose too much, and they are 18/50k per hour, which is pretty good.

Smithing changes

Well, I noticed that mithril arrowtips don't sell. Ever.

So instead I am doing mithril bolts.

The total cost of a bar is 852, the amount gained back from bolts is 830.

Therefore I lose 22 per bar, which is a total loss of about 280k.

I also now have 2.5m or so in junk (mithril arrowtips), which might come in handy...

Smithing

MITH - 16k bars needed.
Total cost of 1k bars = 845k
Total price of 15k arrowtips = 840k
Loss from 1k bars = 5k
Total loss = 80k

Can do 10 per minute, therefore 600 an hour at Neitiznot.

Smelting = 18kxp per hour.
Smithing = 50kxp per hour.

I will lose approx 80k from 70-80 smithing, but because of price changes, probably a bit more.

85 Slayer

Finally made it to 85 slayer, now I can kill abbysal demons! Hopefully get them for slayer soon. Taking quite a big break now, since I have been training slayer for a very long time. I will do smithing to 80, runecrafting to 70, and summoning to 70.

Rune Helm (h1)

Another one of those items that should be worth more, Rune Helm (h1) is only worth 50k or so. But, not a bad clue, but am keeping most of it for personal use.

Experts 2nd Birthday Party

Finally finished 250 tasks, just after I got a nice compliment at gargoyles.

I've been having amazing luck with clues recently, finally making up for all the terrible ones! Got an amulet of glory (t) today, worth about 200k.

Guthix Bracers

Got Guthix Bracers in a clue, I thought they were worth 200k or so, since zammy ones are 300k. But no, they are worth just 12k...

Robin Hood Hat

Woot! Got my best clue reward so far, a robin hood hat, worth just under 2m!
Clues are being really kind to me recently, let's hope it lasts...

Zamorak Platelegs + Blue D'hide Chaps (t)

Got zammy legs straight after zamorak kite, I'm pretty lucky atm! I also got Blue D'hide Chaps (t), but they are only worth 3k or so...


Overall, clue was worth about 430k.

Zamorak Kiteshield

I nearly dropped this scroll, after having such terrible rewards recently, but I'm so glad I did it, got a Zammy Kite, worth about 680k!

Regicide

Completed Regicide today, so I can finally do all of those annoying clue scrolls that I get in elven area without much hassle. I think I can use the charter ship from Catherby to get there, which should be quite quick. I can also now use Dragon Halberds, which is handy. Also, since I have 150 qp, I can "ban" 3 slayer tasks!

95 Strength

Made it to 95 strength, now I can go back to my good old whip for 95 defence, I've missed it! I also got 123 combat, which isn't that bad...

Dragonfire Shield

After selling some slayer loot, I discovered I had enough for Dfs, so I thought I should buy it whilst I could. I'm enjoying it's str bonus, and the very good defence bonuses.


Also, most of my melee equipment seems to be pretty much the best in the game, so I'm not entirely sure what to save up for now... I'll do another post soon detailing the alternative equipment...

Full Villager

Tonight's clan event was Tai Bwo Wannai Trio Cleanup, and by about halfway through, I had earnt enough trading sticks to buy full villager! I chose blue... Just because.

Anyway, it wasn't too bad, and I can now get my Karamja Gloves 3, and I also have complete access to the village, which is pretty cool.

Lunar Diplomacy

Today I finally finished off Lunar Diplomacy, and got access to Lunar Magics, will be very very useful when I am getting 80 herblore. Unfortunately, I accidentally levelled to 66 runecrafting, so I will have to get that to 70 some time soon...
