Xmas Event Summary
To start:
Tele to deamonheim, and speak to... the hatless Santa at the rewards trader.
1st Room:
Watch the pattern, match it. Repeat 3 times.
Pick up the snowman stuff, and leave.
2nd Room:
Move one "icicle block" at a time, as soon as you see the angel turn it's back. Don't try and do 2 at once, and yes, it is frustrating.
3rd Room:
Pick up trinket of sealification on floor.
Slide across the floor, using the onscreen arrows, and remember to press a bit before you want to turn.
4th Room:
Pick a door, and try and get through it, only one will work.
This door is unique to you, so make a note of it, and just work your way through by trial and error.
My doors were: 2, 2, 3, 2.
5th Room:
Just wait until the crab with a hat pops up, click him, and you'll try to catch him.
Usually you miss, eventually you catch him.
Finishing:
Speak to Santa.
Rewards:
Santa cannon, which has a 9x9 Snowsplosion emote, with snow splattering all around.
Salty claws hat, a wearable crab wearing a hat. Wow.
Seal of approval emote, where the player transforms into a seal and claps.
Access to:
- A large snow fight area, with a shortcut to pelt people, and lots of snow.
- A snowman creating area, also with snow.
- An ice skating area, with small sand piles to rest on.
- Giant xmas tree.
- A minigame based on the 3rd room, where you slide into different holes for different points.

Task System
Well, along with a few other updates, Jagex released the task system today. As soon as I logged in, I was assaulted with notifications that I had completed 3 tasks, without moving a muscle. Righto.
So, this is the evolution of the Achievement Diaries we all know and love.
On first glance, this system makes no sense, with colours, ticks, and icons everywhere. After a few minutes however, its overall structure reveals itself.
The task system is divided into sections for each location, just like the achievement diaries.
The coloured circle on the bottom right of each task icon indicates its difficulty.
If a tick is displayed on the task icon, and it has a gold border, you have completed it.

The Temple at Senntisten
Very engrossing storyline, shame that the fight in the ice castle was so easy, only one sip of super sets needed, no food!
Great xp rewards, 33k prayer xp + 40k summoning xp!

Shades of Mort'ton
Fairly quick quest, quite a big quest point reward. Repairing the temple was almost impossible, until a few more people came, and I helped organise each person's jobs.

Champion's Challenge
Alright, I'm going to run through where & how I am going to kill the creatures effectively:
Imp Champion
Range around Karamja volcano. There are 5 spawns here, and they are not too spread out.
Goblin Champion
Probably Goblin Village, as there are a lot of goblins here. Ranging will probably be quickest, although using the free to cast mage spell is an alternative.
Skeleton Champion
Probably the 4th level of the Stronghold of Security, using melee. Although they will be slower to kill, it is one of the few places where there are significant amounts. However, I will look into other places with weaker skeletons.
Zombie Champion
Use Armoured Zombies, which I can probably tank. These are good melee xp, and are afk, which is very good.
Hobgoblin Champion
The area with snape grass spawns has a fair amount of them, very concentrated, so would be good for obtaining a scroll.
Giant Champion
Edgeville dungeon has a lot of hill giants, and should be quiet on a P2P world, and easy to complete.
Banshee Champion
Ground floor of the slayer tower, as they are weak and easy to kill.
Ghoul Champion
Earth Warrior Champion
Aberrant Spectre Champion
Jogre Champion
Mummy Champion
Lesser Demon Champion

Familiar Glitch
Alright, so I was at iron drags, had an invent of d bones, summoned War Tortoise beast of burden so I could store them and carry on slaying.
When I went to do this, I discovered it was almost full of jewellery and gems.
At first, I just didn't get it. The tort had been out for about 12 seconds, what happened?
I then worked it out.
About 2-3 weeks ago, I summoned a couple of magpies, but their timers ran out, and I didn't get a chance to collect their items.
So, the items from the magpie somehow made their way into my tortoise's inventory.
Seriously, what the hell?

Epic
Whilst at my alching class in varrock west (had a max of 5 people alching in time), found a comedic genius.
Glitching to run 2x as fast as usual through varrock bank, shouting random things whilst waving a slayer bell. His first one was his best, "Doomsday!!". Here's a pic of a later one.

Dung Notes
I need to start planning high dung...
Alright, so go world 117, and just do large dungs in teams of 5, all cb. This should be the best xp.

Miscellania (2)
Wow, this place is great for making cash from herbs. These are the results of ONE day's resource gathering.
Total input = 75k.
Total output = ~300k.
Total profit per day = ~225k.
So that's an easy 225k per day, without any effort, regardless if I log on or not.
What I'm going to do is just keep putting money in, then use the herbs I get for herblore. Because I over tripled my original investment, herblore will become pretty cheap! (Say I use 30m worth of herbs from my kingdom, they only cost me ~10m!)
Data:
6 kwuarm 41648
3 harra 5830
5 ranarr 32875
2 lanta 18758
2 cadantine 5830
13 tarro 9321
7 irit 19103
5 dwarf weed 37745
8 avantoe 41648
50000 -> 212788
273 coal 83538
1 uncut emerald 2738
25000 -> 86276

Miscellania
Completed these two quests finally, now I can invest in my kingdom and make a nice profit. Going to put 10 workers on herbs (most profitable), and the remaining 5 on fishing (can cook for slayer).
Best of all, my chrome extension tells me how much is in the coffers, and how happy my citizens are!
I'm going to go and top up approval rating and cash once a week, as this is supposed to be the optimum amount.

High Calchemy
Alright, so, I'm alching maple longbow (u)s. Here are the calculations:
Buy for 95 each.
High alchemy for 192 each.
Nature rune is 204 coins.
204 + 95 = 299 = cost per alch.
299 - 192 = 107 = loss per alch.
Xp per alch = 65.
107/65 = 1.6gp/xp.
Very, very good.
