Image Mapping King

Image Mapping is basically making different parts of a image link to different places using html. It is very hard as you have to find out coordinates and cannot make a single fault! After 3 hours (!!!) I uploaded my habbo corridor, each of the teleports links to the appropriate room in my account! It all works, and I can see no bugs at the moment. The bad thing is, it doesn't fit into the blogger frame so it will have to go at the bottom of the page for now!

CHECK IT OUT AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE!

For no real reason, changed the old header:

I used the characters off wikipedia, here's a full list to use:

New Varrock!

Wow! Jagex gave Varrock a massive makeover, and it looks amazing!
Click pictures to see in Hi-Def.
1st picture is the brand new city centre which will help firemakers out a lot, since we don't have to stop at the centre, we can just continue until we run out!
2nd picture is the new varrock castle, nice gold theme to it now.
3rd picture is a clothes shop, with pigeons and washing on the line!
4th picture is the druide south of the city.
5th picture is a strange dog that seems to latch on to people, I shooed it away and it didn't seem to do anything.
6th picture is the nice new bank.

Also, I'm going camping this weekend with step-dad + sister, my mate, his family + his sister.

Habbo: 2 new rooms

Meh. Made a falling furniture and a pod racing room almost exactly the same for no real reason, ho hum. I assure you they are different rooms, not just a redesigned one by the way.

GTA: San Andreas

As some of you know, I got San Andreas for PS2 about 6 months ago, and had just been using cheats and messing about in the game, without actually completing many missions. After a while, this got dull so I decided I would finally get on with the missions. About a week or two ago I completed "End of the line", the final mission, only to discover I was only on 75% completion!

By researching on the internet I discovered I needed to do many more things to get 100%. So far I have found all tags, all oysters, 48/50 horseshoes, done Vigilante missions & Ambulance missions and much more.

Anyway, here is what I still have to do, more as a list for myself than for you, but you're welcome to take a look.

Left to do for 100%:
Fire truck missions - Level 12.
Find all photo opportunitys.
Zero Missions: Supply lines & New model army.
Valet Parking - DONE
50 Taxi deliveries. - DONE
Hunter Quarry missions 1-7.
2-3 Las Venturas airport races.
BMX Challenge.
NRG-500 Challenge.
All chiliad races.
30 exports, currently on about 14.
Kickstart stadium.

Left to do for myself:
Get over $1000 for an insane jump, best so far is $920.
Fill all garages with GSF cars (Green, Nitro, fully modded), most done so far.

God, there's a lot more to do than I first thought, better get on with it.

PS: Currently on about 88%

Scammy

I was just thinking about what scams I'd fallen for before on Runescape, and decided I might as well post them on here as a sort of record.

Armour Trimming Scam (Long ago)

Finally managed to get full mithril after a generous donation from Sir Slice 889 (or something like that), only to lose it a few days later after somebody said they could trim it for free, thought it sounded good so I went along with it, and I obviously never saw him again. There isn't even such a thing as trimmed mithril...

Money Change Scam (Not that long ago)
I'd been killing green dragons and keeping their hides and bones to sell later on. I'd managed to sell the hides for 1.1k each, so I made 110k which was a lot for me in those days. I was in varrock east bank and a guy called MOJOJO8 offered to buy all 100 for 400k. I was expecting 2.5-3k so I was very excited about the trade. He showed 400k then said I could have some runes too, and added different amounts of different runes. I eagerly clicked "Accept" twice, only to discover it had become 40k...

Probably be updated soon, like next time I get scammed...

IKEA / Hollidog

In Habbo news, 'magic'ed this girl a few weeks and got some decent stuff, and was quite proud of myself. Today, I tried the account again out of boredom, and she had bought more stuff and had 35 credits. So stupid. Got a picture:

Grr

Grr, silly hitpoints level. Yay it's now 75, but boo now my combat is 91, which messes up my combat, and I'm now being tempted to get 100 combat, but no. I mustn't.

Grr.

New signature (P)

Got a lovely new Dynamic Stats signature from the guys over at RS Demon which makes up for my old one breaking for no apparent reason. It's displayed here but can also be seen permanently at the bottom of the page.

In other news, I changed the posts shown on homepage from 7 to 4 since it was all getting a bit big. I'm also looking for a way to show what song I'm listening to on Yahoo Music on my blog, but no success so far.

Lovely search

I was looking through the Mozilla Firefox add-ons section today when I saw this search bar. Looked as though it was just a standard search bar, but I thought I might as well give it a try.

After I downloaded it, I used it a few times and it seemed to work like any other would. Then, by accident I clicked the google logo and I got a list of different sites to search! I went to watch some videos on YouTube, and it offered to add the YouTube video search onto there! Great add-on, and fits seamlessly with my current theme.

Pyeow

Got to 45 thieving, was using chests to make a tiny bit of cash and some all-important nats and pretty good exp too.

Now, it's on to ranging, the level 65 has been bugging me for ages, and black d'hide comes with 70 which will look rather nice!

Yoink

Finished hunter, over 1100 butterflies later.

Now moving on to getting 50 thieving since a stupid quest got it to 41. Pretty similar to hunter actually, in that it is very repetitive.

Also, just so there's a record of it, here's my hunter task picture:

Render thy Catherby (P)

Me and codez have been working on this for a few weeks. Codez has been doing most of the graphics work, and I have been helping him with the accuracy.

I know, I know, it's not very detailed in some places, inaccurate in others, but just look at the quality, could you do better?

Anyway, take a look and enjoy. For a personalised version without copyright or writing, e-mail me and I'll see if we can come to an agreement.

Click picture for larger and more detailed version.

Free .co.nr hosting.

Wow. Now, if you saw a site with a .co.nr address, you'd think "Ooh, must have paid for that!" but no! For once, you're wrong! Click here and you can get a free .co.nr address that will link to your site. Go on, try it, enter http://www.fizziwig.co.nr in the address bar and watch what happens!

Anyway, for doing this and make it look as though I've bought a domain name, they officially rock!

Slight Layout Edit

Decided it would be better if I changed the picture according to what my current task is, not my latest picture as I don't make that many new ones these days. Anyway, made this for the hunter task, took a couple of minutes to get the right pose.

Fishing Finito

Finally finished fishing, god it was dull. Now going to move onto hunter, get at least 45, maybe 50. Here I come butterflies!

Habbo: Hacked Chillibean2

Bit small, but I needed a roller. Man, I really need to find a use for all this spare furniture I've acquired recently.

In other news, about 85k until 80 fishing and I can move on to my love: Hunting!

Habbo: Hacked Chris=thebest

Bit of a small haul, but has a couple of xmas ducks and a poinsetta, so it'll do.

Habbo: Hacked Davidrox123!

Quite a large haul, ho hum.

Oh yeah, and this is my 150th post =)

GTA IV

Just been looking through the trailer for GTA IV, and I can't wait! If only it would come out on PS2, as the £400 price tag for the PS3 is a tad too much for me. Click here to see a very high definition version of the trailer.

It's out on the 16th of October. Only 9 days after my birthday so maybe I'll get it along with a PS3 and a HDTV. Ha!

Habbo: Green / Grey Iced.

Just checked the homepage, seems they finally brought in multi-coloured iced. Decided I ought to get a full basic set, so that's what I did.

Some corner screens, monoliths and large gates were on sale too, but they looked a bit odd, and my room looks nice like this :)

Habbo: Hacked xsxcxrachiex

God, they're coming in thick and fast now, this was a nice haul, it's pretty rare to get any candy.

Habbo: Hacked Anglice

Nowt much, just some seasonals and stuff, but it'll do.

Habbo: Hacked HOT!COOL!BOY-

Bit of a crap haul apart from dice. Account was only made yesterday so a bit suspicious...

Mm...Sharkies

Finally, got 80 cooking! Still a fair bit of fishing to go, but oh well!

Habbo: Finished Pet Accessories and Ecotron

The latest addition to my rooms came with the release of the "Ecotron", a place in the catalog that turns masses of old furniture into special new furniture!
10 Furni = 20 Game Tickets.
20 Furni = Palm chair.
30 Furni = Water Garden.
50 Furni = Polar Sofa.

Also, had to spend ages getting all stages of pet food, since part eaten food cannot be traded, so had to wait for pets to eat it. Yawn.

Zombies

Woot, just bought Shaun Of The Dead from Woolworths for £5, gonna watch it again in a few days. Woot!

1m Members

Wow, Runescape finally passed the 1m members mark! Most of these members are American, so I'll work out Jagex's profit in $.

1 000 000 x $5 = $5m per month.

$5m x 12 = $60m per year.

Site hosting = Maybe $50 a year.
Game Upkeep = Maybe $200k MAXIMUM a year.

------------------------------------
$59 999 750 PROFIT!

Fizziwig2006's contribution: £3.20 a month.

Pay-a-Pixel

Come across these sort of sites before (pay to advertise), thought I might as well list them.

Million Dollar Homepage - 1million pixels, a dollar each. Every single one has been bought, therefore owner has made $1m for a very simple idea.

Add a brick - Unlimited amount, but doesn't really have any potential as there seem to be no special bricks being added (e.g. doors, windows etc). Also, why did "CJ" pay $250 and put up that rubbish banner linking to his page on a free site hosting service?

Gratis Million - An earlier Million Dollar Homepage, but isn't in English so is losing UK and USA customers, probably the biggest source of buyers.

En Million - An earlier Gratis Million, has hardly any customers, why don't they put it in English too!

Pixel Lotto - Seemed a bit complicated, apparently you can win the $1m raised, not sure how that would work though. It's from the same people that made Million Dollar Homepage, and is in English, getting a lot more buyers than the non-english ones, starting to see a pattern.

Zero Dollar Homepage - You can't buy any!

Million Masterpiece - My favourite, because all money raised goes to charity! Click the question mark in the top right hand of the picture and select one of the pictures, some are very funny, all are random. Also, they are all individual people's drawings, not big companies buying all the space.

Pixel Ads For All - Quite a nice one as it offers a free 100x100 pixel space to advertise when your pixel is moused over. This allows companies to put up a large advert, without using up any of the space.

Million Pixel Click - Seem very friendly, appear to be giving away half the space for free if you link to them, so placed a link on the toolbar. Will update when I find out if I was accepted or not!
Here is what I sent by the way:

Million Dollars Pixel - Animations are allowed, which is a big improvement, I especially like the Mad Smiley and the apparently Swimming Tree! They seem to be very unpopular though, only 7 visitors today, maybe it's because of their messy layout?

Billion Dots - Similar to all the others, except on the moon! Also, good to see my old favourite YetiSports advertising on there!

Make Me Mortgage Free - Basically, you are paying this guy's mortgage for him! You choose where you want to buy, e.g bathroom, bedroom etc. Makes a nice change!

Achievement Diary

Just read about the Achievement Diary on the Runescape homepage, looks as if it will be very, very good!

Ever wondered what to do next? With the growing number of things to do in RuneScape, it’s no wonder that most of us spend a fair amount of time just imagining all the things we want to achieve. We've been thinking that it would be great to have a list of all the things you could do, and give some reward for doing them all. Naturally, this would be a huge project to release in one go, so starting the proceedings this month we will be bringing you… the Achievement Diary – Karamja Jungle Tasks.

Found in the quest interface, the diary button will display a list (similar to the music and quest list) of all the various tasks you can do in and around Brimhaven and the Karamja jungle. These tasks will be categorised as easy, medium or hard tasks, and completing each set will give you access to new rewards such as teleports, better shop prices and increased Agility rewards in the Brimhaven Agility Arena. Easy tasks could be as simple as using the rope swing to get to the moss giant island, a medium task involves more skill (like trapping a horned graahk) while hard tasks include becoming the champion of the TzHaar Fight Pits!

Look out for more parts of the achievement diary to be released in the future!

Inspiration come to me

Following from last post about autoers, trying to think of ways to stop them.

So far:

Harder / More randoms? - No, would be annoying and autoers would find ways around.
Combat level limit on guild? - No, would be unfair on skillers.
Update to tutorial island? - Possibly, maybe have it split into, say, 5 sections, and they are in random order, stopping autoers hopefully, but still allowing guides to be written.
Update fishing? - Possibly, but fishing is pretty nice as it is, means I can do other things whilst I fish. But, I suppose, that helps autoers.
Make it harder for autos to react? - Possibly, maybe have it so that the message comes up in the chat screen or something, so only humans would notice it?

Well, until Jagex works something out, I'm gonna keep on thinking, and keep on reporting all autoers I see. Unfortunately, I can only report one every 60 seconds, so some manage to escape me =P

Attenshun + How I hate autoers.

Finally got full camo =)

Rawr, trying to think up a way to get rid of these stupid fishing autoers.

Habbo: Hacked Smallsofy356

A bit of a crap haul, but ah well.
