Catapult Construction
Cabin Fever
Between a Rock...
Dwarf Cannon
Back to my Roots
The Hand in the Sand
Tribal Totem
As A First Resort
I think this is my favourite quest yet. I enjoyed the element of puzzle when finding out which stones were which, and also watching the the family of Platypus' running to my box trap, then relocating them was very cute.
The xp reward is pretty good, as well as access to the spa's for unlimited run, I can also have a pet Platypus now if I wanted.

All Fired Up
Myths of the White Lands
Bobster125 @ Aberrant Spectres
As I was going to a Nechryael task, I saw a grave in the Aberrant Spectres area. I looked the guy up, he was 131 combat with 85 slayer. Needless to say, I was very curious as to how he managed to die here... I blessed for him, he then added me and explained it to me.
He had just got 71 agility, and thought the chain shortcut went into the Bloodveld area, so didn't bring a nosepeg / slayer helmet. He tried it, went up into spectres, and basically panicked, and took a few hits up there, then tried to get back down. Of course, the spectres lower stats, so he couldn't get back down the shortcut, so was stuck up there.
He was very relieved to have saved his fire cape and items, so he gave me 2 prayer potions, which I thought was a fitting reward, since I had spent prayer on him.
Hopefully this'll encourage him to be more careful about entering new areas, and maybe, just maybe, he'll take the time to bless my grave one day when I need it...
Rant about gloves
I just want to take a bit of time to talk about the 'Gloves' from Recipe from Disaster's culinaromancer's chest.
First of all, the names. All 10 of them have the EXACT same name. Seriously, what is the point? They are clearly bronze through to dragon, they are the right colours, right order. Just acknowledge that they are metal gloves, instead of giving them all the same generic name.
Also, the barrows one. Why is this here? Barrows armour isn't metal, and doesn't follow the normal pattern of bronze through to dragon. What they *should* have done is created a completely new item, e.g "Culinaromancer's Gloves", and made the Culinaromancer at the end of Recipe for Disaster drop them. You could either buy them from the chest like the others, or have to kill just the Culinaromancer again. They could stand out just as much as the current Barrows Gloves do, but would just make more sense.
Now, the pricing.

Basic - 50gp
Bronze - 130gp
Iron - 325gp
Steel - 500gp
Black - 1000gp
Mithril - 1500gp
Adamant - 2500gp
Rune - 5000gp
Dragon - 100,000gp
Barrows - 100,000gp
I dunno why they can't seem to round bronze's price to 150, and iron's to 300... but anyway. All the way, the price increase by 50% - 200%, and that's fine. Then all of a sudden, from rune to dragon, the price increases 20x! Is dragon really 20x better? The price then stays the same for barrows gloves. If there was an unusual increase from dragon to barrows, I could understand, since it is top of the range, but NO increase!? What happened? Did they get bored of making new prices so just stuck at 100k?
In my opinion, players should start with a basic pair of gloves than can be reobtained from Gypsy Aris at any time, and are upgraded after each miniquest. Maybe a fee of 10k to reobtain the gloves would be fair. Once players have got barrows gloves, are they really going to want black or mithril gloves?
I'm only suggesting the above since after each subquest, you are probably going to buy the best you can access, then do another subquest later on. This means you have these gloves cluttering up your bank, and they can't be sold back, or exchanged. Luckily they can be high alched for approx 40-50% loss, but you really shouldn't have to alch these.
So now, because I haven't completely finished it yet, I only have access to dragon gloves. However, I bought rune gloves beforehand, and it would be a waste to spend 100k on dragon gloves, then lose 40k when I get my barrows gloves. Much easier and cheaper to just use the 5k rune gloves...
Overall, these are good items, there are just a few design flaws.
Desert Treasure
Recipe for Disaster: King Awowogei
Recipe for Disaster: Sir Amik Varze
I made myself 10 slayer rings this morning, and I have decided that I am going to use these instead of a combat bracelet. They can also teleport to Fremmy + Canifis slayer dungeons, as well as near to smokey well.
So, yeah, these seem much better, but I now have an empty glove spot, so I thought I ought to get barrows gloves finally.
This means I've got a bit of questing to do. Finished this little sub quest, only challenging bit was killing the black dragon. Now I'm on rune gloves, just the monkey bit and final fight left.

71 Agility
I know it is unusual for me to post at an odd level, but I wanted to say that I am going to do Agility for a bit, so I can use more shortcuts.
So now I can quickly get to Nechryaels, which is good. Next is 80, which is the shortcut in taverley, then 81, which is the big shortcut in slayer dungeon.
So, yeah, that's it. :D

Christmas 2008 Event
I started and finished event within 5 minutes of it being released, one of the first!
Alright, so you have to slide about a bit, then leave the ice area, and "Operate" the necklace to summon an ice imp.
You walk in a direction a few steps, and talk to the imp. He will tell you if you are hotter or colder. Remember, you are looking for ice, so you want COLDER!
When you find Jack (hint: north west), talk to him, and you will be taken to fight him. Just slide across the ice into him, then a long cutscene will show Santa being freed.
You will then be teleported back into the real world, with a santa suit + freeze emote, and a snow imp following you for a while.

Guthix Coif + Zamorak Chaps
Shield Left Half
Nechryaels
Finally got these, after having the required level for ages.
Quite weak for their level, I was trying out my new bandos godsword, hitting 40+ on them. They are next to Gargoyles in the Canifis Slayer Tower.
They drop rune boots, as well as a few rune items. They summon death spawns to help them, but these aren't worth dealing with. Bunyip is useful here, to heal the small damage taken.

Jogre challenge scroll
I'm quitting, so this is pointless.
63 Clue scrolls and 8888 Jogres later, champion's challenge has beaten me. I'm not a champion.

I quit
This... game is holding me back too much. It is affecting my school life badly, as well as my social life, and my relationship with my girlfriend.
It was a waste of effort, time, and money. I can't keep it up. I am going to go out on a high, with my level 99 att str and def party being the final day on RS.
As there won't be many more posts, I want to take this moment to thank all of those who supported me throughout my career, and especially The Experts during the latter stages.
I also want to show you my longterm goals, which I once kept private, but now it does not matter at all.

Giant Mole
Had a clan event last night of Giant Mole killing, and I decided to go for once.
The mole is so, so weak. In total, over the 90 minutes I was there, I got hit for about 30 damage total. The mole's high combat level (230) seems to be based almost entirely on defence, as it is hard to hit. I used a normal melee weapon and armour, with a spirit terrorbird + scrolls to keep energy up, as it is tiring chasing the mole everywhere.
It can easily be solo'd, and with the 8 of us that were there, it didn't last long, and most of the time was spent waiting for it's 2 minute spawn time. There is also a handy summmoning obelisk in the lair.
A covered light source (such as sapphire lantern) and a spade are needed.
They drop mole claws and mole skins, which can be traded to Wyson for bird's nests, but nests obtained this way seem to have lower rewards than normal ones.
It also has a chance of dropping higher level items, such as rune med / battleaxe, and dragon spear.

Champion's Challenge
One of my greatest goals on RuneScape has always been regarding Champion's Challenge scrolls. These are extremely rare drops from certain monsters, and enable you to fight the leader of a race. If you manage to defeat all the race leaders, you can challenge the human champion (Leon D'Cour). According to Jagex; "Once you have defeated the Champion of Champions, you will have proved yourself as a true champion of RuneScape."
There are 10 champions, 1 for each race. This is where I am going to fight these races, and hopefully get a scroll:
There are 10 champions, 1 for each race. This is where I am going to fight these races, and hopefully get a scroll:
- Imp Champion - God Wars Dungeon, because they do not teleport away, and it is the only place where more than 1 imp can be found.
- Goblin Champion - Goblin Village, because there is a high concentration of them here, and other players won't come here.
- Skeleton Champion - Digsite Dungeon, because there are many of them here, and I doubt anyone except the occasional quester will come.
- Zombie Champion - Either Varrock Sewers or Stronghold of Security (level 2), I think varrock sewers may be more crowded though, because people use curse spells on them.
- Hobgoblin Champion - Asgarnian Ice Dungeon, as there are quite a few here, but people are usually only in this dungeon for the ice giant, ice warriors, and skeletal wyverns.
- Giant Champion - Possibly Taverley Dungeon, because even though there aren't many there, they will be easier to get, since most people do not know there are any here.
- Ghoul Champion - These can only be found north west of canifis, so I will kill them here.
- Earth Warrior Champion - Earth Warriors can only be found in Edgeville Dungeon, and the Chaos Tunnels, and I think I will fight them in Edgeville, just so I don't have to bother with food / guthans.
- Jogre Champion - The pothole dungeon on Karamja is full of just these, so is best by far.
- Lesser Demon Champion - I will use the same place as I do for slayer, inside Taverley Dungeon. These are quite good xp too.

Spiritual Mages
Made my first trip into God Wars Dungeon today, and it isn't that hard at all. So long as you have an item for each god, and only attack when the enemy is already busy, you won't take any damage. This is my equip:
Invent:
Few sharks, teleport runes, climbing boots, ancient mace, super restore potion, prayer potion.
Also got a couple of pairs of d boots! Nice little bit of cash.

Swan Song
Finished Swan Song quest, was much easier than I expected, only needed a few sharks throughout the whole quest! Now I can fish Monkfish, although I'm still going to use Sharks for slayer... But more importantly, I now have access to the Bank here, which is good for summoning, because of the nearby obelisk. I just need to work on getting a few more final ingredients for pouches, then I can go waste my time and money on it!
Just measured walking times for obelisks. Taverley one is 1:15 from a bank, Piscatoris one is 36 seconds! Waaaay better!
